Abstract
This study assessed the pushout force of four different attachment pickup materials on three denture bases made by conventional heat-curing, subtractive and additive manufacturing techniques. A total of 120 specimens were prepared (10/group). A plate size of 25×25×5 mm^3 and central hole. Four attachment pickup materials were applied following the manufacturer's instructions. The specimens were thermocycled 10,000 cycles at 5°C and 55°C. An axial pushout test was conducted utilizing a universal testing machine. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and Bonferroni post-hoc tests. Self-cured acrylic resin pickup material exhibited the highest pushout force for heat-cured and milled denture bases (p<0.05). The 3D-printed denture base exhibited the highest pushout force to resin composite with adhesive (p<0.05). 3D-printed denture bases use a resin composite with adhesive show significantly highest pushout force. Meanwhile, heat-cured and milled denture bases prefer self-cured acrylic resin as an attachment pickup material.
