The sample consisted of 23 intermediate piano students from 7 qualified piano studios, with a duration of 10 weeks. Research instruments were (1) the series of a remedial piano sight-reading self-instructional package for intermediate piano students, which consisted of 10 books (2) a teacher's handbook and (3) the students' satisfaction questionnaire with Likert's five-point rating scale. The statistics used to analyze the data were descriptive statistics: percentages, means, standard deviations and inferential statistics: a paired-sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05.
