Vol.10, No.1 (2003), 33-39https://repository.li.mahidol.ac.th/handle/20.500.14594/3246A survey on the utilization of medicinal plants at twenty-two provinces; i.e. Nan, Chiang Mai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Phetchabun, Chaiyaphum, Maha Sarakham, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Yasothon, Surin, Buri Ram, Saraburi, Chanthaburi, Kanchanaburi, Phetchaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phattalung, Trang, Krabi and Pattani were carried out by interviewing herbalists followed by collecting plant specimens and identifying the specimens. In addition, the plant specimens were compared with the authentic specimens at two herbaria: the Bangkok Herbarium (BK), Botany Section, Botany and Weed Science Division, Department of Agriculture, and the Royal Forest Herbarium (BKF), National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department, Ministry of National Resources and Environment. Fifty-eight species of medicinal plants belonging to ZINGIBERACEAE family were recorded as medicinal plants. Twelth genera of these ZINGIBERACEAE; each of 11 Curcuma and Zingiber, each of 8 Alpinia and Kaempferia, 6 Etlingera, 4 Boesenbergia, each of 3 Amomum and Globba, 2 Elletariopsis and each of 1 Gagnepainia and Hedychium; and all of these plants were ethnomedical used.ในการสำรวจสมุนไพรพื้นบ้านจากยี่สิบสองจังหวัดของประเทศไทย คือ น่าน เชียงใหม่ ลำปาง สุโขทัย เพชรบูรณ์ ชัยภูมิ มหาสารคาม อุบลราชธานี ศรีสะเกษ ยโสธร สุรินทร์ บุรีรัมย์ สระบุรี จันทบุรี กาญจนบุรี เพชรบุรี สุราษฎร์ธานี นครศรีธรรมราช พัทลุง ตรัง กระบี่ และปัตตานี โดยการสัมภาษณ์ หมอพื้นบ้านเกี่ยวกับสมุนไพรที่ใช้ ชื่อพื้นเมือง ส่วนที่ใช้ ประโยชน์และวิธีใช้ พร้อมทั้งเก็บตัวอย่างพืชที่พิพิธภัณฑ์พืชกรุงเทพ (ตึกสิรินธร) กรมวิชาการเกษตรและหอพรรณไม้ กรมอุทยาน สัตว์ป่าและพรรณพืช กระทรวงทรัพยากร และสิ่งแวดล้อม รวบรวมพรรณ ไม้ได้ทั้งหมด 58 ชนิด จำแนกเป็นพืช ในวงศ์น้อยหน่า 11 สกุล คือ Curcuma และ Zingiber สกุลละ 11 ชนิด Alpinia และ Kaempferia สกุลละ 8 ชนิด Etlingera 6 ชนิด Boesenbergia 4 ชนิด Amomum และ Globba สกุลละ 3 ชนิด Elletariopsis 2 ชนิด และ Gagnepainia และ Hedychium สกุลละ 1 ชนิดengMahidol Universitymedicinal plantsThai Zingiberaceous plantsสมุนไพรพื้นบ้านThai Journal of PhytopharmacyวารสารสมุนไพรOpen Access articleOriginal ArticleFaculty of Pharmacy Mahidol University
