Besides cobalt, some supports such as SiO2, Al2O3, and TiO2are indispensable. The addition of a small quantity of TiO2to silica supported Co catalysts considerably increased the dispersion of cobalt and Co metallic surface area, leading to the remarkable enhancement of the FTS activity in the slurry-phase reaction. The addition of TiO2adjusted the interaction between cobalt and silica support quite well, to realize the favorite dispersion and reduction degree of supported cobalt at the same time, resulting in high catalytic activity in FTS.Mahidol UniversityEnergyTiO<inf>2</inf>promoted Co/SiO<inf>2</inf>catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesisArticleSCOPUS10.1627/jpi.49.45
