Using PCR amplification, the sensitivity of the PBS incubation technique was as good as that obtained from freeze-thaw technique. Moreover, this low-cost technique is less laborious. © 2009 Elsevier Inc.Mahidol UniversityImmunology and MicrobiologyPBS incubation, a simple technique to release miracidia of Opisthorchis-like eggs for DNA extractionArticleSCOPUS10.1016/j.exppara.2009.11.011
