Over time, many methodologies have been developed and the UHS is one of these methods used to do seismic analysis by using data from PSHA. But the consequences of using and combining the historical seismic event of the PSHA concept. The response spectrum from UHS will be considered the upper bound of the design, which means the selection of ground motions lacks realism. Compared to the modern method, The Conditional Mean Spectrum (CMS), This method provides a spectrum shape that better matches actual earthquake records for analysis. This study tries to compare the results of UHS and CMS to show the response of the building under 10 ground motions using these methods in nonlinear response history analysis (NLRHA) in FEM software.
