Here, calculations of the magnetic Compton profiles are presented for ordered and disordered Fe3Pt alloys. Using linear muffin-tin orbital and KKR methods, the latter incorporating the coherent potential approximation to describe the substitutional disorder, the electronic band structure and measurable quantities such as the Fermi surface topology are presented.Mahidol UniversityMaterials SciencePhysics and AstronomyElectronic structure of ordered and disordered Fe<inf>3</inf>PtArticleSCOPUS10.1088/0953-8984/15/21/310
