In addition to eating fresh, it can be processed to banana dried for export. In order to control the quality and quantity of products, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are applied to check the good growth of plants. In this study, path loss models were formulated based on the curve-fitting for LoRa WSN in a banana garden. Additionally, there were deterministic large scale models based on a measurement campaign at a frequency of 433MHz. The path loss between the transmitter node and the receiver node was modeled and derived based on the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measurements. Comparison with the conventional path loss models, found that the proposed models provide minimum MAE for banana tree.Mahidol UniversityEngineeringMaterials ScienceAn Empirical Path Loss Model for Wireless Sensor Network Placement in Banana PlantationConference PaperSCOPUS10.1109/PIERS53385.2021.9694941
