The sensitivity and specificity were 87.5 and 88%, respectively, for the immunoglobulin M (IgM) test and 100 and 91%, respectively, for the protein A test for IgG. Combination of the IgM gold blot and protein A gold blot yielded 97.5% sensitivity and 94.3% specificity. The tests were rapid and simple.Mahidol UniversityImmunology and MicrobiologyMedicineGold blot for detection of immunoglobulin M (IgM)- and IgG- specific antibodies for rapid serodiagnosis of melioidosisNoteSCOPUS
