The potential modification of variations was controlled. The bone resorptive markers, betaCTx, of females and males were 0.3 ± 0.169, 0.412 ± 0.191 ng/ml respectively. The bone formation markers, PINP, of females and males were 44.5 ± 19.92, 58.1 ± 37.7 ng/ml respectively.
