With strong development and marketing, it has gained popularity and acceptance. Despite its soaring popularity, there is a lack of evidence-based studies with strong evidence on it. The objective of this article was to critically analyze recent relevant documents on Invisalign™. For systematical comparison between Invisalign™ and conventional orthodontic fixed appliances, this article was categorized as follows. First, the biological response of the tooth and periodontium to tooth movement caused by both techniques were discussed.
