Multimodal imaging, including fundus photography and fluorescein angiography, was unremarkable. En face optical coherence tomography (OCT) demonstrated paracentral acute middle maculopathy (PAMM) lesions in a perivenular fern-like pattern leading to the diagnosis of central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). En face OCT can be an important modality to identify the distribution of abnormalities of the middle retina such as PAMM.
