Khiew Sawoey was studied. Samples were taken at 3 weeks after full bloom until harvest (12 weeks after full bloom). Fruit growth during week 1-4 was almost unnoticeable, and after that, growth increased remarkedly. After 4 weeks, fruits could be divided into 2 groups; big fruits (7 g) and small fruits (0.51 g) where most of the later group dropped in later weeks. Fruit abscission occurred remarkedly during week 1-3 after full bloom. After that, fruit abscission decreased and was no longer observed in week 6. Both GA-like substances and CK-like substances reached the maximum peak in week 5 followed by increasing of fruit growth. Most of these substances were mainly found in seeds. This indicated the good relationship between levels of these bioregulators and fruit growth.Mahidol UniversityAgricultural and Biological SciencesStudies on fruit growth, levels of GA-like substances and CK-like substances in fruits of mango cv.
