The study was conducted on terminally ill patients who were admitted to the medical wards at Golden Jubilee Medical Center, Mahidol University; whereby data were collected from a total of 30 caregivers who were selected by means of purposive sampling. The study was performed in two stages: 1) The QUALID scale was translated into Thai and thereafter examined for content equivalence, and 2) The Thai version of QUALID scale was examined for reliability by using the internal consistency method. The Thai version of QUALID scale was reviewed by an expert, specifically the developer of the instrument. The results indicate that there is content equivalence between the original and Thai version. In addition, upon assessment of the internal consistency reliability, it is evident that the Thai version of QUALID scale has a moderate level of internal consistency (Cronbach's α = 0.627). Accordingly, this study suggests that the Thai version of QUALID scale has content equivalence with the original version, as well as an acceptable level of reliability.การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ แปลแบบประเมิน The quality of life in late-stage dementia (QUALID) เป็นภาษาไทย และศึกษาคุณสมบัติการวัดทั้งในด้านความตรงและความเที่ยง โดยทำการศึกษาในกลุ่มผู้ป่วยผู้ใหญ่ระยะท้ายที่รับไว้ในหอผู้ป่วยศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษกมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ทำการเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วย จำนวน 30 คน ทำการคัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง การดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ 1) ทำการแปลแบบประเมิน QUALID เป็นภาษาไทยและตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาของแบบประเมิน และ 2) ทำการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงของแบบประเมินโดยวิธีการตรวจสอบความสอดคล้องภายในผลวิจัย พบว่า แบบประเมิน QUALID ฉบับภาษาไทย มีความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา โดยผ่านการตรวจสอบการแปลจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของเครื่องมือ และจากการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงของแบบประเมินโดยการหาความสอดคล้องภายใน พบว่า แบบประเมินมีความสอดคล้องภายในอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (Cronbach's α = 0.627) การศึกษาครั้งนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่า "แบบประเมิน QUALID ฉบับภาษาไทย" มีความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาและมีความเที่ยงอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่ยอมรับได้x, 70 leaves : ill.application/pdfengผลงานนี้เป็นลิขสิทธิ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ขอสงวนไว้สำหรับเพื่อการศึกษาเท่านั้น ต้องอ้างอิงแหล่งที่มา ห้ามดัดแปลงเนื้อหา และห้ามนำไปใช้เพื่อการค้าTerminally illPalliative treatmentPsychometricsMahidol University
