The successful rate of vasectomy as contraception was 99.5%. All but one were pleased with the operation, and 98% of them had recommended it to the others. There were no serious side effects or significant changes in physical, mental health and sexual activities after the operation. Source of motivation was by word of mouth in nearly half of the cases.
