The ability called neuroplasticity [1]. This proceeding investigates about neuroplasticity for blind that use hearing substitute vision. For preliminary investigation use the vOICe, auditory to visual sensory substitution device, that convert image to soundscape and research in normal volunteer but the was blindfolded to block visual sensory pathway. During researching volunteers were recorded EEG for used to study relation of function in each part in brain. The preliminary results when the volunteers were learning and tried to interpret sound to mental image, EEG were computed in absolute and relative power for compare quantity in each bandwidth with position sensors in standard international 10-20 sites and study relation in each of position with coherence and we found relation between T6 and O2 that present the brain try to interpret sound to mental imaging and in O2 had more quantity in high beta band. From the results will employ BCI for enhancing the ability to visualize by auditory perception.Mahidol UniversityComputer ScienceEnhancement of auditory to visual sensory substitution training via brain-computer interface: Plasticity in visual-auditory investigationConference PaperSCOPUS
