Water is recognized as a source of evolution of human civilization. Due to a rapid increase in population growth, the world's population will rise to 9 billion by 2050, which will lead to a severe shortage of fresh water, so its treatment is necessary for day to day life. Nowadays the removal of hazardous pollutants from water and wastewater has become a challenging task for scientists and engineers. Nanomaterials have become attractive as adsorbents because they have a high surface area, enhanced active sites, and excellent sorption capacity. Utilization of nanofillers in the preparation of polymer nanocomposite composites has attracted increasing attention because of their unique properties and numerous potential applications. Polymer nanocomposites with different nanofillers and polymers are of great interest to both academia and industry.Mahidol UniversityEngineeringMaterials ScienceNanoadsorbents-based polymer nanocomposite for environmental remediationChapterSCOPUS10.1016/B978-0-12-811033-1.00011-1
