Starting with the recently introduced expression of Yamamoto and Nagi for the free energy difference of a strong-coupling superconductor containing strongly interacting magnetic impurities, it is shown that the specific-heat jump at T c is not obtained by simply renormalizing the pair-breaking parameter in the corresponding weak-coupling expression for the specific-heat jump. An extra term is seen in the Migdal-Eliashberg based expression which has no counterpart in the weak-coupling expression. © 1986.Mahidol UniversityPhysics and AstronomySpecific-heat jump at T<inf>c</inf>of a strong-coupling superconductor Containing Kondo impuritiesArticleSCOPUS10.1016/0375-9601(86)90111-8
