Arthroscopic surgery excised nodules of tophi in the intercondylar notch and a large central osteophyte that had obstructed full knee extension. The patient achieved full knee extension and satisfactory functional outcomes at 1 year postoperatively. Conclusion: Arthroscopic surgery can be effectively used in gouty knees with an extension block, resulting in excellent outcomes.MedicineArthroscopic Treatment of Extension Block in the Knee Caused by Gouty TophiArticleSCOPUS10.2106/JBJS.CC.25.002312-s2.0-10501168920121603251
