National Laboratory Animal Center, Mahidol University has been breeding and selecting this strain (as subline namely SHR/KyoMlac) that kindly donated by Kyoto University, Japan. This study was conducted to evaluate the blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and growth rate between SHR/KyoMlac (hypertensive) and WMN/NrsMlac (normotensive). The results showed that systolic blood pressure of adult hypertensive rat (130-150 mmHg) was significantly higher than adult normotensive rat (90-120 mmHg.) Contrast to growth rate of hypertensive rat was significantly lower than normotensive rat.engMahidol UniversitySpontaneous Hypertension RatBlood pressureการศึกษาความดันโลหิตในหนูแรทสายพันธุ์ความดันโลหิตสูงของศูนย์สัตว์ทดลองแห่งชาติBlood Pressure Study in Spontaneous Hypertensive Rat (SHR/KyoMlac), National Laboratory Animal CenterProceeding Article
