Nowadays, people tend to travel by themselves instead of traveling with tourist companies as a tour group; however, it is not easy and takes a lot of time to create a trip. Many applications and platforms that are operated in the market help them only on the research, but do not help them to select places and create a schedule for the whole trip. To respond to the needs of users in the market, this business is willing to develop a platform for customers who want a complete set of applications that can help them to create a professional itinerary easier than before for enhancing their trip experience. This study is for investigating the market of the online application for trip optimization to get a general overview of the users’ perception. The study is also created to investigate the existing behavior of travelers, pain points from general ways of trip organization, and the needs of users toward trip organization. This paper uses primary data from 400 people via an online survey as the study of people's needs, and secondary data from papers and news to study the industry and economy in terms of the travel industry. As a result of the research, it shows that almost all of the target customers are interested in a platform that can help them to make a good decision for selecting some places to visit and can help them to save time researching data, save time traveling, help them to estimate the cost of traveling, and eliminate the complexity of using many apps to complete a schedule plan.
