The presentation of the case simulated the clinical syndrome of orbital myositis. The fact that there was no orbital mass, the imaging finding of swollen extraocular muscles, and an initial response to treatment with corticosteroids led to a misdiagnosis of orbital myositis. © 2011 Informa Healthcare USA, Inc.Mahidol UniversityMedicineSparganosis mimicking an orbital myositisArticleSCOPUS10.3109/01658107.2011.593252
