(Music))--Mahidol University, 2021https://repository.li.mahidol.ac.th/handle/123456789/114159The main idea of this research focuses on providing the readers with an analysis of the selected pieces by Oz Noy from the album Twisted Blues Vol. 2, then compose songs in the style of Jazz Fusion or Jazz Rock based on the compositional and stylistic elements observed. Readers will have an academic experience which has been synthesized and analyzed by the researcher, then codified as an easily accessible theory that can be adapted to both the researcher and the readers. There is also a demonstration of songwriting by the researcher based on the data derived from Oz Noy's compositions. The analysis examines three of Noy's compositions, including Rhumba Tumba (featuring Chick Corea on keyboard), Come Dance with Me, and Just Groove Me. Each of the songs expresses the unique character of Noy's composition, management, and arrangement.
