A traumatic neuroma is an uncommon pseudotumor associated with peripheral nerves and occurs following surgery or trauma. It mostly occurs in the extraosseous soft tissue; traumatic neuromas of intraosseous origin are extremely rare. We herein report an unusual case of an intraosseous traumatic neuroma associated with the inferior alveolar nerve that was incidentally found on a panoramic image. In this report, we place special emphasis on the imaging features of traumatic neuroma, including the computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings.Mahidol UniversityDentistryMedicineImaging findings of intraosseous traumatic neuroma of the mandibleArticleSCOPUS10.1007/s11282-017-0286-8
