The pouch is designed to collect an external part of nasogastric tube, which is out of the nasal cavity. It is simple and practical to use. When using this tube pouch, the patient can perform daily activities conveniently. Without the pouch, the tip of the nasogastric tube may swing freely, resulting in pain and discomfort of the patient. In addition, the tube pouch can reduce the chance to be contaminated by surrounding organisms; thereby preventing infection and can reduce the chance of unintentional dislodgment of the tube.
