Of these 447 cases there were hydatiform mole 75.84%, chorioadenoma destruens 6.93% and 17.23% of choriocarcinoma. In the same period 122,093 hospital pregnancies, 118,505 hospital deliveries and 4,488 hospital abortions were managed. The incidence is 1:363 hospital pregnancies for hydatidiform mole, 1:3,938 hospital pregnancies for chorioadenoma destruens and 1:1,589 hospital pregnancies for choriocarcinoma. Geographic incidence of trophoblastic disease is discussed.
