Hip surgery is a good option and might be necessary for them. Preparation of patients’ readiness, medical device, operation room, and health care team is needed in order to decrease risk and danger that might happen with older patients admitted to the hospital. Recovery in patients with old age and concomitant diseases tends to be delayed. When the hip surgery is delayed longer than 48 hours, it might lead to complications: infection, delay of recovery, prolonged length of hospital stay, or death.
