The results of 24, 48, 72, and 96-h LC50 values of fish exposed to zinc were 7.06, 5.98, 5.83 and 5.91 mg/l, respectively. The fish also were exposed in zinc sulphate solutions at pH 4.5, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0, and their 96-h LC50 values at pH 4.5, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0 were 10.154, 15.203, 7.212, 6.417, 4.081, and 7.328 mg/l, respectively. The toxiciy of zinc increased at pH 5-8 and increased at pH below 5 also whereas it decreased at pH 8-9. Accumulation of zinc in the whole bodies of fish showed an increasing trend from week 1 to week 8, using Atomic absortion spectrophotometer.จากการทดลองความเป็นพิษของ zinc sulphate ที่มีต่อปลาตะเพียนขาว (Puntius gonionotus Bleeker) ได้ค่า LC50 ที่ 24, 48, 72 และ 96 ชั่วโมงดังนี้คือ 7.06, 5.98, 5.83 และ 5.91 mg/l ตามลำดับ นอกจากนั้นยังพบว่าค่า pH เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งมีมีผลต่อความ เป็นพิษของ zinc sulphate ต่อปลาตะเพียนขาวได้ โดย ทดลองหาค่าความเป็นพิษของ zinc sulphate ที่ระดับ pH 4.5, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 และ 9.0 โดยมีค่า LC50 ที่ 96 ชั่วโมง ที่ระดับ pH 4.5, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 และ 9.0 คือ 10.154, 15.203, 7.212, 6.417 และ 7.328 mg/l ตามลำดับ ความเป็นพิษของสังกะสีจะเพิ่มขึ้น เมื่อ pH ต่ำกว่า 5 และเพิ่มขึ้นในช่วง pH 5-8 ด้วย ส่วน ที่ระดับ pH สูงกว่า 8 ความเป็นพิษของสังกะสีจะลดลง นอกจากนั้นยังมีการหาค่าการสะสมของสังกะสีในปลาตะเพียน ขาวโดยวิธี Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometer พบว่าค่าการสะสมมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นจากสัปดาห์ที่หนึ่งถึง สัปดาห์ที่แปดvi, 78 leaves : ill.application/pdfengผลงานนี้เป็นลิขสิทธิ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ขอสงวนไว้สำหรับเพื่อการศึกษาเท่านั้น ต้องอ้างอิงแหล่งที่มา ห้ามดัดแปลงเนื้อหา และห้ามนำไปใช้เพื่อการค้าAtomic absorbtion spectrophotometerPuntius gonionotus BleekerMaster ThesisMahidol University
