In SPI models like CMMI, higher level maturity of SPI requires higher level of process quality and lower risks. To learn which part of software process to improve, process quality and risks should be closely monitored in an objective and quantitative manner. This paper presents the application of quantitative CMMI assessment for software process quality and risk monitoring towards the achievement of software process improvement. We also offer an illustrative example of this work with Collaborative Life Cycle Management (CLM) integrations built on the IBM Jazz Foundation.Mahidol UniversityComputer ScienceQuantitative CMMI assessment for software process quality and risk monitoring in software process ImprovementArticleSCOPUS10.4156/jdcta.vol6.issue21.11
