Structured interviews were conducted with 30 participants. The population are small stores operating in the city of Gothenburg and the vicinity. The sample was selected using the selective sampling method. The instruments used were interviews. Data were collected and analyzed using thematic analysis approach. The study suggests that small stores be sensitive to price and product scarcity. It is recommended that the proposed business is asset light with a focus on cost. The initial investment for the first six months of operation would amount 186 825 SEK. The business is expected to have a positive cash f low in year three with a payback period of 3.7 years when discounted by 8%.
