The data were collected from all mating pair from the year 1999 to the year 2012. These 3 strains consist of BALB/cMlac, C57BL/6Mlac and DBA/2Mlac. Their sex ratios were 0.49, 0.50 and 0.52, respectively. Statistical analysis (binomial-test) indicated that secondary sex ratios of 3 inbred mice strains at NLAC do not deviate from the theoretical ratio. Moreover, they are consistent with other laboratories. This is the revelation of the common practice strong stabilizing selection for the intermediate sex ratio at NLAC’s foundation colonies.engMahidol University.
