Abstract
This research deployed the Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) system which stored 200 images of northern Lanna Thai ancient textile weaving. The system's approach focused on color and texture feature extraction. For color feature extraction, the color histogram in HSV color space was used. For texture feature extraction, the co-occurrence matrix was used to create the features by calculating the properties of energy, entropy, correlation, and inverse difference moment. In order to compare the accuracy of the system, three similarity measurements, Euclidean distance, City-block distance, and Chessboard distance were used. From the experimental results, the precision of Euclidean distance is 94.08%, city-block distance is 94.31%, and chessboard distance is 93.98%. For time-consumption, the total average processing time of the system is 46.83 seconds. In conclusion, this research indicates that the use of three distance parameters yields a high accuracy of precision and can be used for this system.
งานวิจัยนี้ได้พัฒนาระบบค้นคืนภาพตามเนื้อหาด้วยคุณลักษณะของสีและพื้นผิวของภาพ โดยใช้ภาพลายผ้าทอโบราณพื้นถิ่นภาคเหนือจำนวน 200 ภาพในการศึกษา ซึ่งสกัดคุณลักษณะ ของสีด้วยเทคนิค color histogram ในโมเดลสี HSV และใช้การสกัดพื้นผิวภาพโดยเทคนิค cooccurrence matrix เพื่อคำนวณค่าโมเมนต์อันดับที่สองของมุม (Angular second moment), ค่าเอน โทรปี (Entropy), ค่าสหสัมพันธ์ (Correlation), และค่าผันกลับของผลต่างโมเมนต์ (Inverse difference moment) ในการสร้างคุณลักษณะพื้นผิว สำหรับการประเมินความถูกต้องของระบบ ใน การศึกษานี้ใช้การวัดระยะทางเพื่อหาความคล้ายของภาพ 3 แบบ คือ ระยะทางแบบ Euclidean, ระยะทางแบบ City-block, และระยะทางแบบ Chessboard โดยผลการทดลองพบว่าการใช้ระยะทาง แบบ Euclidean ให้ค่าความถูกต้อง (Precision) ของระบบ 94.08%, ระยะทางแบบ city-block ให้ค่า ความถูกต้อง 94.31% และระยะทางแบบ chessboard ให้ค่าความถูกต้อง 93.98% และระบบใช้เวลา ในการประมวลผลลัพธ์ทั้ง 3 ระยะทางสำหรับการค้นคืนภาพเป็นเวลารวมเฉลี่ย 46.83 วินาที จากผล การทดลองสรุปได้ว่าการใช้ระยะทางในการวัดความคล้ายทั้ง 3 แบบนี้ ให้ผลลัพธ์ที่มีความถูกต้องสูง และการหาความคล้ายของระยะทางแต่ละแบบสามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ได้ดีในระบบนี้
