dc.description.abstract | The published contents on the websites depend on the purpose of the owner. This research aimed to analyze the contents on 20 International and 20 Thai logistics service providers' websites. The data was collected by observation through the websites during 3 months period. The frequency of displayed components was collected as well as their locations. The contents on the logistic service providers' websites may be classified into 88 components. They can be grouped into 8 categories (Company information, Service information, Contact information, Announcement, Website function, Company regulation, Social media, and Unrelated information. The location of component mostly were not place deeper than Level 3 in which Level 1 is the Homepage. Also, the total number of pages should not be more than 111 pages based on location and sitemap data. 55% of LSPs' websites provided at least one alternative language. Usually, there are 2 languages including local language and English. The contents on both international and Thai logistics service providers' websites seem to lack an interactive function such as request quote and message box. Social media is used to expand their interactive function channel. There are 23 common components from both sample groups based on Pareto analysis. They are considered as a basic component for LSPs' websites. 23 uncommon components are additional components depended on the company characteristics. | |
