Parameters affecting bile acid and bile calcium secretion
(Mahidol University. Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, 2024) Chatsri Deachapunya; Nateetip Krishnamra
transport of Ca from blood into bile. To test whether bile Ca secretion is controlled by Ca regulating hormones, experiments were done in thyroparathyroidectomized (TPTX) rats which received Ca gluconate solution to maintain normocalcemia (Ca clamp). Results... and bile acid secretion demonstrated a positive correlation in normocalcemic and hypercalcemic groups. However, the slope representing bile Ca secreted per unit change of bile acid significantly increased in the hypercalcemic groups and showed tendency

Tracing charged particle motion in a turbulent magnetic field
(Mahidol University. Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, 2006) Achara Seripienlert; Ruffolo, David
) proposed a two-component magnetic field to model the turbulent IMF. Understanding how charged particles move along the IMF is beneficial for describing some transport phenomena and the model is useful in achieving this understanding. In this work, charged... particle motion was traced in the turbulent magnetic field. A program to trace charged particle motion using the Runge-Kutta algorithm was developed. Charged particle motion was traced by transforming from particle position coordinates to guiding center

and behavioral health. Thus, preventing the impact of stress, coping, and management is important. A previous study found that viewing cute animals or cute images are other ways to create positive feelings. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to create a... thematic paper provides knowledge and models of the cuteness features of dog images that are suitable for gender, age, occupation, age of work, working days per week, and type of transportation. The cuteness features models will be used to synthesize

in rural area. The results indicated that the increasing trend of near surface air temperature was positively correlated with the percentage of urban growth. Therefore, the mitigation of increasing air temperature could be implemented by managing local non...-climate factors and implementing the urban environmental management measures such as reducing energy consumption in transportation and residential sectors, and increasing green spaces.

Determination of radiation dose from Ruthenium-106/Rhodium-106 plaque for radiation safety in ophthalmic brachytherapy
(Mahidol University. Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, 2024) Gunjanaporn Tochaikul; Putthiporn Charoenphun; Krisanat Chuamsaamarkkee; Chayanit Jumpee
phantom eye area both with and without a 1 mm lead cover were determined by the calibrated HPGe detector with the optimal counting time and distance. An input file for a transport code, Monte Carlo N-Particle version 5 (MCNP5), which had been properly... shield. Furthermore, the simulations revealed that the highest and the lowest radiation doses to the staff were 3.1513 μSv/hr/MBq at the center of the plaque position and 0.0001 μSv/hr/MBq at the contralateral side, respectively.
