The Lean Manufacturing System concept was applied to increase the operation efficiency by eliminating wastes generated... size reduction was suggested to reduce the waiting time and work-in-process. The wastes of overproduction and excess inven-tory could also be eliminated. The manufacturer was noted to exhibit flexibility, with quick adjustment capability, to effectivelyPublication Metadata only Business process approach towards an inter-organizational enterprise system(2007) Vichita Vathanophas; Mahidol University, College of Managementinsights and perspective of ERP systems. This research aimed to develop a JSSP's model that deals with machines and job sequences by dual objective functions under the new gainful constraints which are involved with the types of skilled workers according to the case study of a steel mill. The proposed methodology of this research is applied with the Memetic algorithm (Genetic algorithm and Local Search technique) and the Pareto optimization. The results generated from the proposed idea can help the manager to decide on the assignment of the right worker to operate the right machine with the right job to achieve the objective values (minimum makespan and maximum average utilization of workers).Item Metadata only The DP-GMAW technique on aluminum build-up process for additive manufacturing(Mahidol University. Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, 2024) Jukkapun Greebmalai; Eakkachai Warinsiriruk; Thanakorn Naenna; Noppakorn PhurayaThis study of Additive Manufacturing (AM) utilizes the Double Pulse-Gas Metal Arc Welding process (DP-GMAW). The objective was to quantify the effect of DP-GMAW parameters and determine suitable DP-GMAW conditions for the AM procedure... laminated dimensions significantly. Finally, the process conditions were determined and concluded based on the three studies conducted prior.
