dc.description.abstract© 2014 IEEE. With the impacts of global warming and climate change, energy conservation policies and carbon footprint reduction have become a major concern in everyday lives. The electricity resources are limited while the electricity demand and the cost increase. The need to reduce energy consumption and to maintain the devices for maximizing energy efficiency, the electricity monitoring system is an essential tool for establishing smart green building. Power Monitoring Application (PWA) is developed for Android smart phone system for tracking energy usage for each individual computer system and for reporting energy usage status. Energy consumption values are obtained from webserver database connected to Arduino coupled with CT Sensor gathering AC power consumption. This project aims at monitoring and logging AC power usage in graphical view and allows users to maintain physical Database according to sensor location.en_US
