dc.description.abstractThailand is one of the countries that the government is scheduled to liberalize the telecommunications business by 2006. The liberalization process is required some activities to be changed in order to prepare its market for the fair competition. It leads to the regulatory reform that supports the revision of the telecommunications market structure from monopoly or oligopoly to perfect competition. The objective of this paper is to propose a framework to analyze the market structure of mobile business in Thailand. This paper also describes the process of the liberalization and its impacts on the Thai mobile business. In addition, the current status of telecommunication business in Thailand is also discussed. This study will be a valuable contribution towards IT society and international telecommunication business sector.en_US
