ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดของผู้รับบริการ ในโรงพยาบาลชุมชน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์

Abstract

บริการกายภาพบำบัดมีความสำคัญต่อสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน จึงมีความจำเป็นในการพัฒนาระบบงานกายภาพบำบัดให้มีประสิทธิภาพ มาตรฐาน และตอบสนองได้ตรงความต้องการของผู้ใช้บริการ การวิจัยแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ภาวะสุขภาพ และการเข้าถึงบริการกายภาพบำบัด กับการใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดในโรงพยาบาลชุมชน โรงพยาบาลบางสะพานน้อย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้รับบริการกายภาพบำบัด จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 135 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ระหว่าง 14 ธันวาคม 2563 ถึง 31 มกราคม 2564 อธิบายตัวแปรโดยสถิติพรรณนา และหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรโดยใช้สถิติไคสแควร์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้รับบริการกายภาพบำบัด เป็นเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 71.9 อายุเฉลี่ย 50.1 ปี (±13.6 ปี) มีสุขภาพในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 54.1 การเข้าถึงบริการกายภาพบำบัดโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง ร้อยละ 81.5 การใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดที่โรงพยาบาลชุมชน พบว่า เมื่อลงทะเบียนใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดผู้ป่วยได้ใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดในวันที่ลงทะเบียน ทุกครั้ง ร้อยละ 79.3 ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดในวันที่ลงทะเบียน ของผู้รับบริการอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ประกอบด้วย คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ได้แก่ ระดับการศึกษา (p-value = 0.040) รายได้ครอบครัว (p-value = 0.011) ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวกับสุขภาพ ได้แก่ มีปัญหาสุขภาพที่ทำกายภาพบำบัดต่อเนื่องในปัจจุบัน (p-value = 0.010) ส่วนการเข้าถึงบริการโดยรวมและรายด้านไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้บริการกายภาพบำบัดของผู้รับบริการ ดังนั้นการพัฒนาบริการควรพิจารณาหาช่องทางให้บริการปรึกษากายภาพบำบัดเชิงรุกแก่ผู้รับบริการที่ไม่สะดวกเวลาราชการ

Physical therapy services (PTS) are essential to health and quality of life of the population. When clients have health problems, they should be able to access the service timely. This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze factors related to PTS in a community hospital. The participants consisted of 135 clients of physical therapy department in Bang Saphan Noi hospital, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire during December 14, 2020 to January 31, 2021. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were used to analyze. The results indicated that the clients in a community hospital were female (71.9%), had the mean age of 50.08 years (±13.6 years), moderately healthy (54.1%), and had physical therapy access service score at a high level (81.5%). The utilization of PTS at the hospital when registered revealed that 79.3% of the clients can use the services on same day. In addition, the factors that statistically significant related to PTS utilization were personal characteristics including educational level (p-value = 0.040), family monthly income (p-value = 0.011), and health status factor such as health problem treated by continuous physical therapy (p-value = 0.011). On the other hand, accessing services was not associated with PTS utilization. Therefore, the development of PTS in the hospitals should be considered for clients who are inconvenient during office hours.
