Abstract

This cross-sectional analytic research, examining the accessibility of public health services in primary public health facilities in Nonthaburi Province. The sample consisted of 326 residents from Mueang Nonthaburi District, Bang Yai District, and Sai Noi District, selected through multi-stage sampling. A questionnaire was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, specifically binary logistic regression analysis with chi-square statistics. Odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated. The study found that the overall level of access to primary health care services was low to moderate level (76.4%). The utilization rate of primary health care units was 0.86 (86.2%), with the highest usage observed in Bang Yai District (91.46%). Logistic regression statistics indicated that personal factors, specifically education and occupation, and structural factors such as frequency of receiving services at primary health care units, were significantly associated with access to services (p < 0.05). Therefore, the findings of this study serve as baseline information for developing guidelines and policies aimed at improving public health service delivery. They can inform the planning and development of health service systems and contribute to the enhancement of service quality in a way that is comprehensive and tailored to the context of each area
