การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะโภชนาการในเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนในเขตอําเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารของเด็กก่อนวัยเรียน และเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะโภชนาการในเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนที่มีภาวะโภชนาการอ้วนและสมส่วน รูปแบบการวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาเปรียบเทียบ วิธีดําเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นมารดาและเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนอายุ 3-6 ปี จํานวน 144 คู่ โดยแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มเด็กที่มีภาวะโภชนาการอ้วน 72 คน และภาวะโภชนาการสมส่วน 72 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามมารดาเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยด้านเด็ก ด้านมารดา และด้านครอบครัว วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพรรณนา การทดสอบไคสแควร์และทดสอบที ผลการวิจัย: เด็กก่อนวัยเรียน 144 คนมีพฤติกรรมการบริโภคถูกต้องในระดับปานกลางร้อยละ 74.3 ถูกต้องระดับน้อยร้อยละ 12.5 เด็กก่อนวัยเรียนที่มีภาวะโภชนาการแตกต่างกันมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (p < .05) ใน เรื่องของน้ําหนักแรกเกิด การได้รับนมมารดาช่วงอายุ 4 เดือนแรกพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารของเด็ก ดัชนีมวลกายของมารดาและพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารของครอบครัว ส่วนระดับการศึกษาและลักษณะอาชีพของมารดา ความเพียงพอของรายได้ครอบครัวและพฤติกรรมการทํากิจกรรมของครอบครัวของเด็กทั้งสองกลุ่มไม่แตกต่างกัน (p > .05) สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ: ผลการวิจัยทําให้เห็นถึงความสําคัญของการจัดกิจกรรมการพยาบาลที่ส่งเสริมดูแลสุขมารดาขณะตั้งครรภ์และทารกในครรภ์เพื่อการเจริญเติบโตและน้ําหนักแรกเกิดเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ การเลี้ยงดูบุตรด้วยนมมารดาให้นานที่สุด การแบบอย่างที่ดีของสมาชิกในครอบครัวเกี่ยวกับบริโภคนิสัย การออกกําลังกาย การมีพฤติกรรมบริโภคและการออกกําลังกายที่เหมาะสม เพื่อแก้ไขและป้องกันภาวะโภชนาการเกินต่อไป

Purpose: To study the food consumption behavior of preschool children and comparing thefactors related to the nutritional status between preschool children with obese and normal weight.Design: Descriptive comparative study.Methods: The study sample included 144 dyads of mothers and their children aged 3-6 yearsdivided into obese and normal weight children with 72 each. A set of questionnaires were distributed to the mothers asking about child, mother, and family factors. Data were analyzed using descriptivestatistics, chi-square test, and t-test.Main findings: Among 144 preschool children, 74.3% of them had food consumption behavior at moderate level, and 12.5 percent at low level. It was further found that the following factors weresignificantly different between the obese and the normal weight preschool children (p < .05): birthweight, breast feeding during early four months, food consumption behavior of children, maternal bodymass index, and food consumption behavior of family. However, the mother’s education and occupation,sufficient family income, family activities, did not differ in both groups (p > .05).Conclusions and recommendations: The study results suggest the importance of nursinginterventions that promote antenatal care for desired fetal growth and birth weight, breast feeding as long as possible, roles of family members as a good model of food consumption behavior, and properphysical activities to correct and prevent overweight.
