Thinner inhalation potentiated CCl 4 induced hepatotoxicity by which the activities of plasma glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (PGOT) and plasma glutamic pyruvic transaminase (PGPT) were significantly increased. Two major constituents, methanol and toluene, are responsible for stimulating hepatic damage of CCl 4 via lipid peroxidation.en_US
