dc.description.abstract© 2014 IEEE. Green smart shopping is to raise the awareness of energy and environment saving. iDBulbGreen is an android application to help resident customers for making decisions on purchasing bulbs with eco-friendly lights and energy efficient lighting in order to save energy and protect the environment. This application is composed of four components. The first one provides the input interface that allows administrators to fill in data from the descriptions as shown on the bulb packages or taken from bulb catalogues. The second one is to generate a comparative graph in different dimensions of product cost, energy consumption, life-time, environmental impact, and energy-efficient lighting value. The third one is to recommend customers for an appropriate number of chosen bulbs according to the customer-usage-requirement (e.g. for decoration or reading). And the last one is to give knowledge of green lighting and buyer tips.en_US
