ผลของโปรแกรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านต่อพฤติกรรม การจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมของผู้ดูแลเด็กโรคหืด

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านต่อพฤติกรรมการจัดสิ่งแวดล้อมของผู้ดูแลเด็กโรคหืด รูปแบบการวิจัย: การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง วิธีการดําเนินการวิจัย:กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลเด็กโรคหืดที่อยู่ในเขตอําเภอโคกเจริญและอําเภอสระโบสถ์ จังหวัดลพบุรี จํานวน 52 รายแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุม 26 ราย และกลุ่มทดลอง 26 รายเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสะดวก รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและแบบสัมภาษณ์การจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านที่กระตุ้นให้เกิดอาการหอบในเด็กโรคหืดการศึกษาครั้งนี้ใช้ทฤษฎีการเรียนรู้การวางเงื่อนไขแบบการกระทําของสกินเนอร์กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้าน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยการให้ความรู้โดยใช้สื่อคอมพิวเตอร์ การเสริมแรงทางบวกโดยการร่วมประเมินสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านและชมเชยให้กําลังใจและการติดตามโดยการเยี่ยมบ้านและโทรศัพท์ กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการดูแลตามปกติ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การทดสอบที ผลการวิจัย: กลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนพฤติกรรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านดีกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (t = 12.943, p < .001) สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ: โปรแกรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านมีผลให้พฤติกรรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านเหมาะสมขึ้นและควรส่งเสริมการนําโปรแกรมการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในบ้านไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการดูแลเด็กโรคหืด

Purpose: To determine the effect of a home environmental management program on caregivers’ management behavior for children with asthma. Design: Quasi-experimental researchMethods: The study sample consisted of 52 caregivers of children with asthma in Amper Khokcharoen and Amper Sra-bod in the province of Lopburi. The sample was divided into experimental and control groups containing 26 subjects each. The sample group was selected by convenience sampling and the data collected by using interviewing questionnaires on demographic data and home environment management for asthma triggers in children with asthma. Skinner’s Operant Conditioning Theory was used as the study framework. The experimental group participated in the Home Environment Management Program consisting of instruction by means of computer media, positive reinforcement through home environment assessments and encouragement, and follow-up by home visits and telephone calls, while the control group received only routine nursing care. Data were analyzed using t-tests. Main findings: The experimental group had better home environment management behavior scores with statistical significance (t = 12.943, p < .001).Conclusion and recommendations: The Home Environmental Management Program was effective in increasing appropriate home environmental management behavior. The program should be encouraged in care of children with asthma, and further research be undertaken to further validate the program.
