Brunner's gland hamartomas are uncommon benign tumor of the duodenum. Most lesions are small and asymptomatic. Occasionally, those lesions may be large and manifest as a rare cause of upper GI hemorrhage or duodenal obstruction. The authors report here two cases of Brunner's gland hamartoma presenting with upper GI hemorrhage that were not amenable to endoscopic polypectomy thus requiring surgical resection. The literature on Brunner's gland hamartoma was reviewed.en_US
