dc.description.abstract | A practical protocol for the one-pot synthesis of N-substituted 2-aminoazole derivatives is described, employing simple azole substrates, nitrogen nucleophiles, lithium tert-butoxide as the base, and iodine to mediate carbon-nitrogen bond formation.
