Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการรับรู้ความสําคัญของข้อมูล ความเข้าใจข้อมูล และความวิตกกังวลของบิดามารดาผู้ป่วยเด็กในระยะพักฟื้นหลังผ่าตัดหัวใจ รูปแบบการวิจัย: การวิจัยศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ วิธีดําเนินการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ บิดามารดาผู้ป่วยเด็กหลังผ่าตัดหัวใจ และย้ายออกจากหอผู้ป่วยหนักไปพักฟื้นที่หอผู้ป่วยสามัญ จํานวน 64 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามความวิตกกังวลขณะเผชิญ แบบสัมภาษณ์การรับรู้ความสําคัญของข้อมูล และแบบสัมภาษณ์ความเข้าใจข้อมูลวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติสหสัมพันธ์ สเปียร์แมน ผลการวิจัย: การรับรู้ความสําคัญของข้อมูลไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความวิตกกังวลของบิดามารดาที่ระดับนัยสําคัญ .05 (rs = .18, p > .05) และความเข้าใจข้อมูลมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับความวิตกกังวลของบิดามารดาอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (rs = - .27, p < .05) สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ: พยาบาลควรประเมินความเข้าใจข้อมูลของบิดามารดาเกี่ยวกับการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กในระยะพักฟื้นหลังผ่าตัดหัวใจ เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าข้อมูลที่ให้จะช่วยลดความวิตกกังวลของบิดามารดา และควรมีการพัฒนาโปรแกรมการให้ข้อมูลแก่บิดามารดาของผู้ป่วยเด็กในระยะพักฟื้นหลังผ่าตัดหัวใจ

Purpose: To examine the relationship between the perceived importance of information, understanding of information, and parental anxiety of children in the recovery phase after cardiac surgery.Design: Correlational study design.Methods: The study sample was comprised of 64 parents of children in the recovery phase after cardiac surgery and were transferred from an intensive care unit to general wards. Data were collected using the State Anxiety Inventory Form Y-1 and the interviewing questionnaires of Perceived Importance of Information and Understanding of Information. Descriptive statistics and Spearman’s rank correlation were used for data analysis.Main findings: The relationship between the perceived importance of information and the parental anxiety showed no relationship at significance level .05 (rs = .18, p > .05), while the understanding of information was significantly and negatively correlated to the parental anxiety (rs = - .27, p < .05).Conclusion and recommendations: To ensure that the provision of information for parents of pediatric patients in recovery phase after cardiac surgery will reduce their anxiety nurses should assess their understanding of the information given. The development of nursing program on the provision of information to the parents is recommended
