This research aimed to study models and conditional factors involved in life skills development for Muslim youth within Islamic private schools in three southern border provinces. This qualitative research was employed by purposive sampling technique for the study area of Chong Rak Sat Witthaya School. The research tools comprised an interview, group discussion and observation. The study results indicate that the conditional factors inside schools covered culture of clan organization, teacher modeling, school as a second home, school environment supporting students’ learning, learning with non-Muslim teachers, as well as friend groups learning.
