Chylous ascites (CA) is a rare manifestation of tuberculosis. We report a case of CA due to tuberculosis in an HIV-infected patient and review the literature on CA in HIV disease. This patient was successfully treated with large volume abdominal paracentesis, antituberculous drugs, and parenteral medium chain triglycerides. © Urban & Vogel.en_US
