MySRT: Management system for senior project document repository and tracking

© 2017 IEEE. Every university has different criteria for graduating in bachelor's degree level. The Faculty of ICT at Mahidol university is one faculty that requires completing students the senior project for graduating from the university. This is to allow students to show theirs skills and knowledge in each process of the project development and submit their as the final deliverable. Currently, the Faculty of ICT is thesis submission process relies on paper-based documents by which are the hardcopy of senior project, thesis, student information form, CD-ROMs, and some information is stored in a single desktop computer. There is a few information about the senior projects kept in a database. MySRT is a web-based application aims to assist the Faculty in keeping track of senior project submission and procedure performed. This system is improved from the paper-based to the database system. In addition, it helps students keeping track of the senior project process as well as the deadline for each process. MySRT also provides some features that user can search the senior project and track the submitting status. Moreover, the administrator can update status, send the notification, and delete the announcement, it has to access by the administrator. The benefits of this system are to provide a convenient and effective way to submit the senior project documents, solve the wrong student information, and track the senior project submitting status.
