การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ของการเรียนของนักศึกษาที่สอบคัดเลือกระบบมหิดลรับตรงและระบบกลาง กรณีศึกษาคณะสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาที่ผ่านการสอบคัดเลือกเข้าศึกษาต่อระบบมหิดลรับตรงและระบบกลาง (Admission) ในหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีสิ่งแวดล้อม คณะสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคร้ังนี้ได้แก่ นักศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษาในปีการศึกษา 2553 ถึง 2557 จำนวนท้ังสิ้น 313 คน ผู้วิจัยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสมของนักศึกษาทั้งสองประเภทการรับเข้าวิเคราะห์ค่าความถี่ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยของผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมของนักศึกษา ระบบมหิดลรับตรงและระบบกลางในแต่ละปีการศึกษา โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-Way ANOVA) เมื่อพบความแตกต่างรายคู่ทดสอบค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่ โดยใช้วิธีของเชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe’s method) พบว่าการเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาระบบมหิดลรับตรงและระบบกลางในปีการศึกษา 2556 และ 2557 มีความแตกต่าง จากปีการศึกษาอื่นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติทิ่ระดับ 0.05 และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาในปีการศึกษา 2556 และ 2557 มีแนวโน้มลดลงจากปีการศึกษา 2553-2555 ซึ่งข้อมูลที่ได้นี้จะเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรต่อไป

This research aimed to study and compare academic achievement of the undergraduate students of Science Program in Environmental Science and Technology, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University. A total of 313 students admitted directly by the university and through the admission selection systems of the academic year during 2010 to 2014 were the population of this study. GPAX scores of all sample groups were gathered and analyzed to find out frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. All mean values of GPAX of both direct selection and admission students within the same academic year were compared and analyzed employing one-way ANOVA statistic (F-test). After the results were found statistically significant, the mean values of GPAX differences of both direct and admission selective systems were analyzed by T-test Scheffe’ method. The comparison of academic achievements of the students showed that the academic achievements in academic years 2013 and 2014 were significantly different form other academic years at 5% significance level. Also, these achievements were likely to decline from 2010 to 2012 academic years which can contribute to the program improvement.
